On Saturday October 7, XXL will mark its third return to the Depot as part of The Warehouse Project’s 2023 season, promising a boundary pushing, incomparably authentic rave experience equipped, as always, with awe-inspiring stage production.
The 12 hour, 5pm-to- 5am affair will occur over four stages across the legendary Depot Mayfield and welcome a platter of industry leading headliners as well as some XXL regulars.
Expect live sets from the likes of extra-terrestrial techno taste master duo 999999999, whose hardware only sets at festivals and basements alike have helped carve their reputation as boundary pushing innovators.
Reiner Zonneveld also graces the stage, and if any one of his other performances are to go by, audiences can expect a synergetic and reciprocal interaction between ravers and the musician. Vladimir Dubyshkin will also deliver an improvisational performance; a remarkable audio visual experience is to be anticipated as stage production will surely mirror the likes of these live shows.
XXL also welcomes DJ sets from rising techno DJ-Producer Kobosil, label founder I Hate Models, and Berlin based trance curator DJ Heartstring.
There will also be DJ sets from the likes of Kl/KL, blk. and more. Some heavy hitting b2bs’s will also be presented , with a Paula Temple B2B SNTS set, a Shlømo B2B Sara Landry set and a Nio Moreno b2b DYEN set.
The full lineup can be found via the WHP23 website. Pre-sale tickets go live on Thursday 29 June from 10am and general release tickets go live on Friday 30 June from 10am.
