Tough Luck has announced it’ll be putting on an exhibition and party on Aprill 1 in Shoreditch, from 7pm ’til late, entitled ‘Nowt Daft’.
Originating in Newcastle as a lockdown project, the community-based platform aims to spotlight emerging youth culture photographers from around the world with a predominant focus on rave culture.
The forthcoming exhibition on April 1 is set to journey into modern day rave culture through photographs of underground parties and the characters who make the subculture, showcasing its energy and diversity and its existence in spaces from abandoned warehouses to packed dancefloors.

Attendees must be over 18, and there will be a BYOB policy.
“I believe that underground photography has the power to capture the energy and excitement of subcultures in a way that mainstream photography often can’t,” explains founder Jordan Taylor. “Throwing events such as the exhibition is a great way to meet up, network and have a laugh with the people who are part of these amazing subcultures.”
The event will also be making a donation to The Photography Foundation, which helps young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds to gain long term employment through the art of photography. At the exhibition, funds will be actively raised for the charity by selling its official zine.
