The Garden Party Leeds has shared its line-up for 2023 in addition to a new venue and extra stage.
Taking place on May 27 and 28 at the city’s newly launched Canvas Yard, the event will now feature three stages for punters to mill around and enjoy sounds across the spectrum of techno, house, garage and bass sounds.
Local queer-centric party Drip will also be curating a stage, celebrating minority talent in the area.
“We’ve been hosting The Garden Party across the city for the last 17 years making it the longest running electronic music festival in Leeds,” says Director Matt Long. “Seeing it go from strength to strength each year has been incredible and this year we’re going even bigger with three stages which will allow us to widen our musical spectrum even further. Everything is set to make it another huge year of The Garden Party.”
Shifting to new venue Canvas Yard – a four-year in the running collaboration between Moda Living and New Citizens – the city centre location is equipped with audio-visual production deemed “cutting edge”, with a “powerful soundsystem” to house large-scale events such as The Garden Party, plus Defected Leeds and Haçienda Open Air.
