Been clubbing for over 36 years since 1986 attending all types of genre events.
Bought turntables and vinyl in 2003 and played private parties before selling everything 5 years later disillusioned by the ‘digital’ age of DJing.
For my 50th birthday present to myself I went to Defected Croatia in 2018 (and 2019) and decided there that I wanted to learn to DJ digitally.
But it took me until early 2021 to buy an entry-level controller and after a few months, I purchased the ‘Club Ready DJ School’ course, graduating on 31 Oct 2021.
As one of the founding DJs on Club Ready Radio, my show every Friday is my chance to play what I feel like to whoever wants to listen.
No grand plans to be a DJ as a career DJ (just a hobby and outlet from my full-time job as a Property Manager) although I get asked to play out occasionally.
I purchased a Pioneer DDJ 1000 in Sept 2022.
