South London is getting a brand new nightclub this week, as Brixton venue Loki opens its doors.

From the same team behind the Fox & Firkin pub in Lewisham, the new venue will see the transformation of East Brixton’s railway station and the former premises of Medusa nightclub.

Hosting a private launch party tomorrow night with OK Williams and Nat Home, the 250-capacity club will officially open to the public on November 4 with sets from Bluetoof and Softi.

Every Thursday night, Loki will have £1 entry starting off on November 10 with an all-vinyl party with Kyle Toole and Kian O’Keeffe.

The team told Resident Advisor that Loki will be a “refreshing” new space “with a top-notch system,” adding that it will be prioritising “extended sets, back-to-backs and not ridiculously expensive ticket prices.”
