A brand new 350-capacity industrial venue named Spray Shop is heading to Liverpool’s north docklands area this month.

Setting up shop in a former car garage, the new nightclub will open for the first time this Thursday featuring Richy Ahmed and a slew of special guests.

Kyle Muldoon, who goes by the DJ moniker Eldon, is the brains behind Spray Shop and its programming. “This place I can assure you isn’t going to be just another nightclub in Liverpool,” he says. “I’m here to create a cultural legacy that this city can be proud of.”

The intimate space will later welcome the likes of Wheats, Archie Hamilton, and Pirate Copy throughout the coming months after its official launch on Thursday, February 23.

In March, Spray Shop will also see a takeover from Jesse Calosso’s label Boogeyman alongside Joey Daniel, AJ Christou, and more for a night of “upfront house”.

The club also boasts a TPi Soundsystem, making Spray Shop the first club with that soundsystem installed in the UK. “The sound in the club is the most important thing,” explains Muldoon.

“The lads who work [at TPi] reckon this is one of the best on the market. This needs to be absolutely spot on on the first night when everyone comes down,” he adds.
