Club Ready Radio Club Ready Radio
Started as a DJ in the early 80’s using tapes and vinyl with crap turntables, doing House parties and then some Mobile DJ and Club work.
Playing mostly Open Format so no set genre, just what the crowd wanted to hear, from Commercial, Top 40, Rock, R&B to Hip Hop.
The late ’90s progressed to CDs using Denon DN2600 and by this stage also using Technics 1200 turntables and Pioneer DJM mixer.
2013 saw me progress to CDJ 2000 nexus multiplayer and DJM 900 nexus mixer, still mixing CDs but also with the joy of using USBs.
In the mid to late 2010s still mixed mostly Mixtapes for friends. working 2 jobs so not a lot of free time.
2019 had planned to travel and DJ along the way but Covid put a choke on that. Was with a couple of online DJ groups, then stumbled upon Club Ready DJ course and joined the Tribe 2021 and met some great talented friends.
2022 upgraded to CDJ 3000 and joined Club Ready Radio with a 2-hour show Saturdays 5.30 pm – 7.30 pm ACST
At the end of the day, I love music and mixing it and hopefully, you’ll enjoy my shows.
