fabric Originals has announced its forthcoming bass-focused compilation, ‘fabric SELECTS II’, set for release on May 12.
With the announcement comes the release of single ‘Duality’ taken from the record by LUXE.
A percussive and tense cut, ‘Duality’ begins with a pulsating bassline before being joined by a haunting melody and added layers of atmospheric instrumentation.

Swirling between conflict and tension throughout, the title of the track becomes apparent as LUXE negotiates the duality of tension and release.
The announcement of both the single and forthcoming compilation landed on social media with LUXE explaining in the video that “having played at the club it feels really good to be releasing on fabric Originals alongside so many respected legends as well as friends as well.”

The full compilation takes a bass-focused approach, celebrating pioneers within the genres from past, present and future. Compiled of 10 tracks, new original music is also to be shared by Le Motel and Flowdan, dBridge, Al Wootton and Neil Landstrumm.
It is the second compilation on fabric Originals with the concept being launched only six months ago, already housing a techno compilation, album from TYGAPAW and a steady output of EPs.
