London’s Brick Lane to host New Year’s Eve block party

A New Year’s Eve block party will be running through London’s iconic Brick Lane.

Celebrate the end the of the year and the start of 2023 across a 4,300 sqft area of partying with venues Cafe 1001, Werkhaus, Brick Lane Tap Room and Sleazy Pizza.

Spanning the courtyard area of Dray Walk, the evening will run till 4AM with a variety of 20 DJs performing on the night.

Nightclub Werkhaus is set to have a diverse range of music from object blue b2b TSVI, Bakey b2b Breaka and more.

Cafe 1001 will be converted into a “Mancuso-esque New York City loft party” with its new sound system with DJs Melodies International founder Mafalda and multi-genre sets from Guava Jamz.

Local restaurant, Sleazy Pizza will become a disco and will see Tallegio Nights on the decks whilst pizzas are cooked up throughout the night.

Meanwhile, Brick Lane Tap Room will be running as normal with its classic pub vibe.

Luca Pilato of 1001 Venues says “The Block Party is designed to give people a ‘total night out’. We’ve got totally different music styles from loads of DJs. There’s a club room, a cocktail bar, a pub in our Tap Room and even a late-night pizza place serving up fresh 12-inch delights all included in 1 ticket price!”

A percentage of proceeds from the event will be donated towards ECODISCO which aims to supply a more environmental outlook on raving.

With 800 tickets available, prices start at £15 each or for free to those who arrive before 8PM.
