Homobloc has launched a new charity t-shirt collection with Róisín Murphy, Honey Dijon and local partner Feel Good Club.
All proceeds will be split evenly between Homobloc’s charity partners: The Proud Trust, LGBT Foundation, George House Trust and Greater Manchester LGBTQ+ Community Fund.
The release marks another year in which the block party for all supports charity partners and their ongoing work, and comes just before Murphy and Dijon headline the forthcoming Homobloc show at its Mayfield Depot home on November 5.
Others set to play the 14-hour long party include HAAi, Saoirse, Horse Meat Disco and Moxie b2b Shanti Celeste.

“The inspiration for this t-shirt designed with long-time collaborator AVAF is ‘Own your own narrative,” explains Honey Dijon on the collection.
In 2021, Homobloc teamed up with multidisciplinary artist Corbin Shaw, whose work was features throughout last year’s event. It showcased his trademark visuals of messages of love mounted onto flags flying through the air, paraded onstage by performers.
His series of works for last year explored the performance of masculinity in heteronormative spaces dominated by men – and the flags and photography from previous events are now being exhibited at Manchester’s Feel Good Cafe.

Shaw’s “Dance Culture” flag is set to be auctioned off in support of Homobloc’s charity partners as a further showing of support, all of which make vital contributions to the LGBTQ+ community.
The new Homobloc t-shirt collection is available in a variety of styles and colours. You can check them all out and grab one for yourself here.
