This year’s final shows include a handful of birthday celebrations, including Mixmag’s 40th anniversary event in December with Overmono.
Kicking off this October, Toy Tonics are due to take over E1 with a double bill from Artwork and Kapote on the 7th, followed by the likes of Malaa, Jeremy Underground, O’Flynn, and a DNB Classics All Dayer throughout the month.
Mixmag’s 40th-anniversary birthday party takes place at E1 in December with Overmono. Further details will be announced in the coming months.
Rounding off the year, E1 also brings through select showcases from Sweely, Dan Ghenacia, Helena Hauff, Young Marco, Job Jobse, and Leon Vynehall throughout December.
It was revealed yesterday, August 31, that E1 will be demolished and rebuilt next door to its current site on Pennington St, Wapping, to make way for a new development. The development includes 114 residential flats and a new nightclub operated by E1.
E1’s new home will have a 24-hour licence on Fridays and Saturdays, with a 6:AM – 3:AM licence Sunday to Thursday. Construction will begin in around five years.
