US DJ and producer Chrissy is launching a brand new label, Maximum Airtime; the imprint’s first release, ‘It’s Time To Dance‘ – which is a collaboration between the newly-minted label head and Chicago artist Mister Wallace.

The new imprint, which launched on Friday (August 11), will focus on digital only, eclectic singles — with the label’s bio describing it’s upcoming roster as “forward-thinking, genre-hopping, fun and euphoric bangers that bridge dance music’s disparate communities and sounds.”

The former Smart Bar resident shared the news on Instagram, writing: “Big news everybody! I’m launching a new record label TODAY that’s called Maximum Airtime”

The first single on the imprint, ‘It’s Time To Dance’, is a dancefloor-centered track combining elements of juke, grime, hip house and everything adjacent — with both Chrissy and Mister Wallace having teased the track in their sets this Summer.

In a declaration of intent towards the label’s genre-defiant intentions, the pair have enlisted Mexico City speed star Paurro to create a fiery techno rework of the track — as well as an instrumental and accapella version.

You can buy ‘It’s Time To Dance’, and keep up to date with upcoming releases, on Maximum Airtime’s Bandcamp, here.
