DJ and producer BAMBII has just released her debut EP, ‘Infinity Club’.
The Canadian artist has already made a name for herself with genre bending, captivating DJ sets that fuse elements of jungle, pop and dancehall, regularly fusing the sounds of the Caribbean diaspora with electronic music.

Three years after the launch of her event series , she was appointed as the resident DJ for Mykki Blanco’s tour which springboarded a series of performances at legendary electronic music beacons.
After dipping her fingers into production in 2019 with ‘NITEVISION’, she went on to serve as a co-producer for Kelela’s sophomore release ‘Raven’. For her EP, she takes that same energetic approach.
Her EP opens with “You are Now Entering the Infinity Club”, welcoming listening ears while affirming the direction and intentions behind the project. On ‘Hooked’ BAMBII features the dreamily sensual vocals of Aluna for the a pop meets RnB fusion track with accompanying, extraterrestrial visuals.

She embodies the role of a femme fatale on ‘WICKED GYAL’ which sees North London’s very own Lady Lykez, who she’s previously performed sets with. BAMBII’s feature heavy project demonstrates her clear knack for enthusiastically and skillfully showcasing her collaborators’ unique talents.
In regards to this, she says “When I first started, I was very focused on narrowly defining genre and thinking about music in terms of binaries. This project is the very beginning of me trying to tell more complex stories.”
