Brainfreeze is a brand new event series from Mixmag & Fireball where we showcase the best in the biz – a hedonistic burst of pleasure soundtracked by specialists in low-end, high-octane electronics. We’re not here to chin stroke.

On Wednesday, November 23, we’re showcasing Bou and My Nu Leng at Werkhaus. Sign up for guestlist here.

For our first event of the series, drum ’n’ bass dynamo Bou is joined by trailblazing duo My Nu Leng as the three go toe-to-toe at East London’s Werkhaus. Get those gun fingers at the ready – we’re about to get sweaty.

Bou’s impressive tastemaking sensibilities have helped the Manchester DJ reach stardom in recent years. Shaping the sound of underground drum ’n’ bass, the multi-award winning artist has become a certain household name in the sphere of high-octane sonics. With a handful of number one releases and remixes for the likes of Shy FX, High Contrast, and DJ Fresh, Bou is currently cruising at an unstoppable pace.

Causing dancefloor havoc since 2011, My Nu Leng are the descendants of a lineage that dates back to the genesis of rave culture, now renowned for their incendiary DJ sets which join the dots between a myriad of genres. The Bristol duo have played all over the world at events including Glastonbury, Outlook, South West Four, and countless clubs in all corners of the globe. Now, the pair make waves with their long list of acclaimed releases and efforts to champion new talent with their own record label, Maraki. At Mixmag and Fireball’s debut Brainfreeze event, My Nu Leng are set to traverse multiple genres paying homage to the history of dance music.

Don’t miss this one. Sign up for guestlist here.
